I’ve always loved wearing denim and am completely guilty of embracing the double-denim fashion of the 70s and 80s. Don’t judge, many of us succumbed… even if not all of us admit it!
I love working with denim. It’s such a familiar, easy material, but it also offers a lovely contrast when paired with something softer.
For this piece, I wanted to introduce something a little more delicate, and the purple floral lace felt like a natural choice. It softens the denim beautifully while adding a gentle sense of refinement to the overall design.
The lace follows the natural line of the bag, helping everything feel balanced and intentional. The purple tones bring a calm, understated softness, while still giving the piece its own quiet character.
This is the kind of bag I imagine being used often. Easy to carry, practical, and just a little bit different.
