The maker, Anne-Marie, says…

I was inspired to create a larger evening bag after attending a gala dinner. I had a beautiful dress and a lovely little bag – little being the operative word – and I could just about fit my mobile phone inside it! However, I also wanted to bring my tablet and make-up bag, so I realised I needed something bigger whilst still keeping that glamorous evening feel.

For this particular bag, I chose crystal rhinestones because AB stones catch the light so beautifully. They contrast perfectly against the black fabric and give the piece a classic, elegant evening look.

I do tend to favour positioning embellishments towards the right-hand side, but the truth is you often have to move them around until the design feels balanced. On this bag, the diagonal placement in the lower corner felt just right for the shape of the piece.

The result is something eye-catching yet timeless.  Perfect for weddings, celebrations and those occasions when you want a little extra sparkle.

I’ve called her Diana – elegant, confident and made to catch the light.
