The maker, Anne-Marie, says…
I’ve always loved blue, but I’d never really given much thought to turquoise until my cousin wore a beautiful turquoise dress to a “gathering of the clan” weekend. It looked so fresh and uplifting. Inspiration often appears when you least expect it!
The flower appliqué is sewn into place by hand with lots of tiny stitches to secure it properly. I’ve added little turquoise gems for extra detail and I thought the toning heart charm would give balance to the left-hand side.
I think this works beautifully as a gift bag for something bright and celebratory, but it’s just as lovely reused afterwards. Perfect for adding a little colour to everyday life.
I’ve called her Jane – fresh, uplifting and full of quiet joy.
